As of August 1st, an updated version of software is already available for the newly released TiVoHD system. The new version number is 8.1.7b1-01-2-652 and its intended to remedy pixellation issues (noise) some folks are experiencing with CableCARDs from some providers. It sounds like some folks are still having problems, so if you are still seeing this after your unit takes the update, check out the discussion at Engadget and hopefully there will another software release to remedy the problem.
