An affiliate is any business promoting the DVRupgrade web site using banner ads, links, and other creatives provided by DVRupgrade. Special links and codes are provided to the affiliate, and placed on the affiliate's web site. Visitors from the affiliate's web site are tracked and a sales transaction is completed, the affiliate receives a commission based upon the amount of the sale.

Who can become an affiliate?

Anyone with a web site can apply to become an affiliate. The more traffic your web site receives, the more likely you will generate commissions by sending visitors to the DVRupgrade web site.

How does it work?

Once you've been set up as an affiliate, you will have access to our system which provides a library of 'creatives' and links to our site. These creatives can be imbedded into your own web site (or blog) and be used to direct traffic to our site with a special tracking link. Any sales generated as a result of your referrals are tracked, and you can check the status of your account using our system. How do I get paid?

Affiliate partners are automatically paid by check or by PayPal on a quarterly basis. Payments are made for accounts with balances of $100.00 or more. If you do not have a $100.00 balance your current total will be rolled over to the following quarter. There is no limit to the amount of money you can earn as an affiliate; the more sales you are resonsible for generating, the more money you make. DVRupgrade pays up to 5% on all merchandise sold.

How are sales tracked?

All links from your web site to the DVRupgrade web site contain an identifier that is unique to your site. Every time a user comes to us via your links, we know who to credit for the sale when the actual purchase is made. If someone clicks on your link to visit our site but does not make a purchase immediately, and this visitor returns to our site within 30 days and makes a purchase, you will still be credited with the sale. Once you have directed a customer or prospect to us, they no longer have to visit us through your link for you to be credited for the sale!
