These units, also known as the Hughes or DirecTV HR10-250 (or HD10-250) are the only units to contain dual, integrated HDTV DirecTV tuners and also provide TiVo functionality. Unfortunately, these units are not easy to find because DirecTV is now promoting their own brand of DVR (known as the HR20) that does not contain any TiVo technology. In any case, the HR10-250 is an excellent unit and it can be easily upgraded in a variety of ways, including with our PTVnet kits.
