| The DVRupgrade Recertification Service |

If you already have a hard drive you'd like to have us prepare for installation in your TiVo, then our recertification service may make sense for you. We'll fully test a hard drive you provide, install the appropriate software on it, and if you also send your unit, we'll install the drive in your unit for you, as well. The recertification service is ideal for you DIY upgraders who buy all the hardware and then realize that you don't have the time or the skills to complete the installation themself.
If you have one of our kits, suspect there to be a problem with your drive, and it is out of our warranty (but still covered by the manufacturer's warranty) then the recertification service may be ideal for you. Just send us your drive, or your entire unit, and we'll figure out what is wrong. If its the hard drive, we'll take care of it, and if its something other than that, we'll make some recommendations, including having your unit repaired with our authorized repair partner.
If you do not have your original TiVo box, or a box to appropriately ship your drives, we highly recommend you add a custom DVRshipper to your cart before checking out. We'll ship you an empty box, packing materials and a return label for safe and secure shipment of your TiVo to us!
