The TiVo HD DVR is an entry level high-definition TiVo designed for use with OTA sources and CableCARD decoders.
A factory-configured TiVo HD DVR can store up to 20 hours of HD programming or up to 180 hours of standard definition programming. We offer upgraded units with much greater capacities than come standard. The unit can record two shows at the same time, even while you are watching a third one that has previously been recorded. Although it won't work with satellite, you can get CableCARD decoders from your cable company (or from Verizon, if you have FIOS) or simply use the OTA connection if you have an analog antenna. The TiVo HD supports all of the great features made available by TiVo including Ethernet connectivity, and the ability to transfer recordings to your PC using the TiVo Desktop Software, plus much more!
