I am trying to upgrade a Humax DRT-400 standard hard drive with a 250MB drive from a Tivo Series 2 box. Welcome screens come up and appear to be going through the boot process but it just keeps on repeating and never completes. I suspect that the new drive does not recognize the new (different) box. The 250MB drive works fine in the other box.
Does anyone have experience doing this or how to make the drive work in this box?
