No local/low channels

I have DirecTV with a Philips DSR7000 that had a failing hard drive. I replaced the drive with a new one and installed Instant Cake without problems. Both tuners are working great and almost everything is perfect except I'm not receiving any low/local channels. I read the instructions and have done everything from waiting 24-48 hours to re-sending the authorization codes, I even did a complete clean and restart and then re-sent the codes, but nothing has worked.

The only thing I haven't tried is calling DirecTV, but since I've replaced the hard drive I'm not sure I want to let them know that. Does anyone have any other tips or suggestions?

If you still haven't gotten it going, give DTV a call to re-hit your access card with local channel authorization.

You have to go to your DirecTV account on the web and Reauthorize this unit. That will fix it.
