I recently purchased VideoRedo plus and even with the (rather cryptic) tutorials I'm having a bit of a problem understanding just how to use all the many features and understanding some of the terms and such. Is there somewhere that you can direct me where I can "edamacate" myself on some of this stuff? Also, I couldn't find a list of minimum system requirements for the new TV suite software. My poor ole' computer is not the most up to date and may not be up to the task. Do I understand correctly that the TV suite will burn a DVD that would play on most DVD players? TIA for your help.

The folks at VideoRedo provide a number of support resources (http://www.videoredo.com/Support.htm) which may or may not be useful to yo:
product documentation (interactive PDF) (http://www.videoredo.com/HelpDocs/VRDHelp502.pdf)
support FAQs (http://www.videoredo.com/FAQs/SupportFAQ.htm)
how-to guides (PDF) (http://www.videoredo.com/HowTos/HowToContents.htm)and, they have their own interactive discussion forum (http://www.videoredo.net/msgBoard/index.php), as well.
Personally, I've not had much trouble figuring out how to use the application "out of the box" - I've not done anything too advanced, but just experimenting and exploring has allowed me to scan through shows to mark the beginnings and ends of commercials, then just "cut" what I don't want and "save" what I do want.
As for the TVSuite product, its just like VideoRedo Plus, except with the ability to burn DVD's for a normal DVD player. It has some basic functionality for setting up the DVD menu system (titles, buttons, etc) - certainly not as fancy as some of the complicated DVD authoring programs, but it is quick and easy and produces very nice and usable DVDs.
I'm not aware of the PC requirements, but I use the product on a 2-year old Athlon X2 4200 with no issues (obviously you need to have a DVD writer for burning DVDs...)

Thanks for the help Lou and for pointing me to those helps. I did find the system requirement here...

I'll go through all those tutorials and such in the next little while and see if that sinks in. ;)
