Request for Applying elseed (Caller-ID) Hack to HDVR2

I am limited in my UNIX knowledge and was wondering if it might be possible to get instruction on how to apply a hack to my HDVR2 that will allow it to display Caller ID information on screen. If this hack does not have "normal" behavior, eg caller-id information does not get removed from screen, then please note this.

Part of the reason for getting this all setup (PTVNet) was so that I could apply a hack to display Caller-ID information.
