Finally, a TiVo® DVR that supports HDTV, works with cable and is available for less than $300!
This new TiVo HD DVR is designed to work with any cable provider, esepcially those who offer HDTV services using CableCARDs (http://www.dvrupgrade.com/dvr/stores/1/cable_info.cfm), it can record two programs at once (even while you watch a third pre-recorded show), connect to your home network so that you can download movies, share home videos, music and photos, and many other great things included with the TiVo service!
The TiVo HD DVR, much like its older brother, Series3 HD DVR (http://www.dvrupgrade.com/dvr/stores/1/series3.cfm), contains Series3™ technology but it is offered at a significantly lower price for a few reasons: It has a smaller hard drive (160GB vs 250GB), does not include a TiVo Glo Remote (http://www.dvrupgrade.com/dvr/stores/1/accessory_nomodel.cfm?SID=1&Product_ID=639) and also doesn't have a fancy OLED display.
