I have a new/spare Seagate 160GB (Ultra-ATA, 7200 RPM, 8MB buffer). Can I use InstantCake with it to create a temporary replacement for my bad HR10-250 drive while I decide what I want to do long term? I know the recording capacity won't be much, but that's okay since it is only temporary.

Thanks,
Ira

Should work fine; please see the release notes for discussion of drive size requirement for the specific version of InstantCake you are using.
