TIVO Desktop 2.5 & upgraded TIVO's

Have four Series-2 TIVO, three with upgraded hard drives, one with its factory drive.
All have received the Fall 2007 service update to version 9.1-01-2-540 by downloads from TIVO. Upgraded my XP computer from version 2.3 to 2.5 and it errors out tried to read the recording index on my upgraded TIVO, and can only read the existing recordings on my factory one. Also the 2.5 upgrade has errored my Window Live One Care.
Removed version 2.5 and went back to version 2.3 and can now read the recording index on all my TIVO's.
Has anyone else noticed these problems?
