Hi,

I completed the installation of a TurboNet card in my UK Thompson PVR10UK Series 1 Tivo at the weekend. All seemed fine, FTP, Telnet, added some tools, customized my TiVo, messed around with TiVoWeb (not running now). Made a test call to TiVo using my LAN connection. All works fine. I don't have an open account with TiVo so it says my account is closed - fine.

I made some manual recodings over the weekend. They all recorded at the correct time, channel and duration but when I play them back (via Scart), only the first 2-5 seconds (without sound) play back. The screen freezes and glitches and returns to the menu. This happend every time now... I've not added any other processes that the installer added (if any?) - "nic_install turbonet" - can I disable these drivers to test if they had any effect?

Thanks in advance..

You may want to check over at silicondust.com; they have a TurboNet discussion area of their forums. I have no experience with UK based TiVo systems so really couldn't shed any light on it for you.

Cheers, I'll do that.

Cheers, I'll do that.Restored my backup image, replaced the same drivers binaries and scripts. All works now.. I must have cocked it up when I did it previously.
