TivoWebPlus 1.3.1 & dual tuners

I installed my PTVnet drive in my HDVR2 and it's really great! However the "info" screen on the TivoWebPlus 1.3.1 that came pre-installed only sees one of my two tuners.

There's a newer version, TivoWebPlus 2.1, that says it is corrected for dual-tuner DirecTV units.

Is it OK to run this version from my new PTVnet drive? If so, how should I perform the upgrade? I'm good-to-go with telnet and ftp - tried them both.

I ran into the same question when I ran PTVnet. I haven't upgraded but would like to if it's possible. Any suggestions?

Of course it's possible. Nuke your current install (rm -rf). Ftp over the twp tarball and unpack (tar -xzvf). Then fire it up (/path/to/twp/tivoweb console). I don't know why anyone with a directv tivo would want to use 1.3.1.
