I've made some strides, but still can't get the WGA54G wireless gaming adapter working with my baked DSR7000. First let me say, I've got the DSR7000 to worked wired. Secondly, I've had the Wireless adapter able to connect wirelessly to the internet by using my wired LAN connected connected to this adapter. As soon as I plug it in my DSR7000, it doesn't seem to work. I've rebooted both the DirecTIVO and when I still couldn't see it, I rebooted the gaming adapter. Nothing works. Please help!!
Thanks,
Matt

I have the wireless gaming adaptor working with my HR10-250.

Remember you need to have both your receiver and your wireless gaming adaptor set to use the same type of network settings, either DHCP or STATIC.

I am currently using STATIC, since I started out with 3.1.5f and the article about upgrading to 6.3b stated that this was necessary.

I found this article on dvrplayground.com.

Thanks for the reply.. Couple of questions.. If you set static IP, do they both need to have the same IP address? If not, does the Ethernet Adapter need to be on the same subnet? My router is set for 192.168.8.x while the gaming adapter is currently on 192.168.1.x.

Can you provide the link to that DVRPlayground article too?

THanks!

I set the STATIC IP address the same on both the Gaming Adapter and the HR10-250.

Before you try anything else, set the gaming adapter to the same subnet as your wireless access point. This may solve all your problems.

Since I was able to get my DSR7000 wired, I tried to use the wireless adapter on the HR10-250... Set the gaming adapter to dynamic just like the baked HR10-250. Now here's the kicker, using Angry IP Scanner... They're getting an IP!! But I still can't access the TivoWebPlus. :( Any ideas?
