Just and FYI for those who are running the InstantCake Process on Dell Dimension 2400s...
I just finished the process and wanted to note that the ROM BIOS in my Dell Dimension would not recognize the CD ROM drive (slave or master) when connected to the primary IDE interface.
As such I reconnected it to the secondary IDE interface and connected the new DVR HD to the primary IDE interface. I set ROM BIOS to boot from CD
When I booted InstantCake, I selected advance configuration and indicated the HD was 'primary/master' and everything went as flawlessly from there.
