We have two R10s that have both upgraded to 6.3f. Unfortunately, one contiues to experience periodic freezes just like it did with 6.3e and the menu is still very slow. With all previous versions of the software, they both operated perfectly. The one that is freezing has a brand new Seagate DB35 drive in it. I am considering getting Instant Cake and downgrading the software to get back to a stable version.
I see from the Readme that the IC software for the R10 is 6.1 vice 6.1a. I thought that it was 6.1a that has the DST fixes. If I IC this drive to downgrade and connect it to the phone line, I believe that it will upgrade itself back to 6.3f directly. If I'm correct, how do I get 6.1a and the DST fixes?
Thanks.
John
