Anybody running 6.3f on HR10-250s?

I was looking at the system software area on my 2 HR10-250s and noticed that I have 6.3f-01-2-357 waiting to be "activated". Both were downloaded to my boxes on 02-03-08. So far I haven't found any "chatter" on this release viz-a-viz "slicer".

Does anybody know what Directv had in mind on this release?

Has anybody used slicer to install this release yet?

If so, what new problems came with it? :D

Just curious, and I am not gifted enough to fix anything if I break it. ;)

I have upgraded my HR10-250 to 6.3f using the slicer and everything seems to be working fine.

The chief difference I have found is that the nightly reboots that were introduced with 6.3e no longer occur.

Note: My system was originally 3.1.5f and has since been updated to 6.3c, 6.3d, 6.3e and 6.3f using the slicer. I have noticed that others who originally had a 6.3 version seem to have had networking problems after upgrading to 6.3f.

I'll lurk a little bit longer and see what develops. I haven't had the "re-boot" problem since I went to 6,3e myself. Maybe I am just lucky???? ;)
