Yes this question has been asked a thousand times I'm sure. Yes I'm a newbie. Yes I've read lots of threads and still don't understand.
I have a Phillips 704 TiVo that was has the hard drive already set up with PTVNET and I can network and see the TIVOWebPlus screen on my PC. And I can download a show using Tytools client alpha #10 rel 4. But I get the "first 10 initial chunks" failure when I try to make the Key file. From what I've read this is an encryption problem. I also read that I should get "tweak.sh" and run it. How ? where ? Or something called the Zipper ? and if I do will it damage the hard drive set up that I already have?
