I have an old 300gb HD with recordings. My unit keeps rebooting. I saw this was a known issue with 6.3c. I went and purchased the new ptvnet HD and instacake with 6.3e and tivowebplus 2. I baked a new 320 HD. I have tried to copy my old content to the new drive in two different ways:
1. using mfstools 2.0 and make a backup image. (no content of course)
2. again, mfstools 2 and using the DD command to copy drive to drive.
results:
1. Unit will not boot. Hangs on Power up screen
2. Unit boots and content is in place, yet won't play content. says error with content.
I would like to at least get tivowebplus 2 onto my old 300. If anyone has any thoughts on this please eel free to respond.
