I got my local channels to come back, but the guide just keeps saying to be announced for the locals. Is there something else I need to do???

If you just installed a new kit, then it can take up to 24-hours for your locals to come back. Or you can call DIRECTV and have them refresh your services. This can also be done from their web site by logging into your account.
