Best Instant cake & PTVNet version for HR10-250?


1. I have a HR10-250 running 6.4a, after going to TiVo community board I am confused as to what version would be best.:confused:

2. I have a version of PTVNet that I purchased a few months ago for a Hughes HDVR2, can I use the same one for my HR10-250?:)

You'd need a different version for the HR10-250 than you are using on your HDVR2.

As for the HR10-250 and the version that is 'best' there is no absolute answer to that. If 6.4a is working for you with no problems, then I'd suggest you stick with it. I've noticed that most folks seem to be going with 6.3f when they order the combination of InstantCake and PTVnet, but that may change as 6.4a gets better known and people are comfortable with it.
