Ok, so I figured out that the root cause of the problem is the WEP encryption. If I use this set up everything works fine IF I turn off the WEP
tivo > Linksys USB200M adapter > Linksys WET11 bridge > Linksys BEF11SW router
I can move files, MRV works, etc....
If I turn ON the WEP and start to move files around, the connection will stay up for a few minutes and move part of the data and then drop off line. Restarting the WET11 restores the connection.
I am thinking that this is a configuration issue, but I am not sure how to debug the wireless connection.
My WET11 linksys wireless bridge keeps dropping off line after a few minutes when connected to my upstairs TIVO.
A fresh restart for the tivo and WET11 gives network connectivity (ping, telnet) and MRV works. After a few minutes, the upstairs TIVO loses MRV connectivity. I can't ping the WET11 from the other tivo or the other computers in the house. If I disconnect the TIVO from the WET11 and reboot the WET11 without connecting the tivo, I can ping the WET11 just fine from the other computers in the house. The TIVO is set for static IP address. The USB adapter is the Linksys USB200M V2.1
It seems like the TIVO is confusing the WET11 and causing it to drop off line. My network settings are given below. I have also attached a bootlog. What do I need to change????
