I had to replace the power supply in my Series 2 DirecTV Tivo. I have also built a new larger drive via Instant Cake. I thought before swapping to my new drive I would bring my receiver up with the new supply to make sure everything worked again before using my new drive. The Tivo boots up great, however I don't get any video from the satellite. I can watch all of my previously recorded shows. I go to system information and under DirecTV account status: Account closed. I have called DirecTV. I have used their website to refresh my service. My account on their website is fine. Any suggestions?
Thanks

If you are not getting a signal from the satellite, then your account is going to show up as 'closed' because the data that will reset the status of your unit also comes down from the satellite. Perhaps you have a bad cable or bad connection?
From the sounds of it, replacing your power supply was not the solution to your problem (or perhaps it was only part of the solution). Not sure what the specifics were, but it's rare that a hardware problem can be solved by just replacing a power supply; what diagnostics were used to make the determination that you had to do that?
For future reference, you, or others, might want to consider our repair options (http://www.dvrupgrade.com/dvr/stores/1/tivo-repair.cfm) for an effective diagnosis and repair.

I don't know whether your DirecTV box is anything like the HR10-250, but the HR10-250 only uses push on connectors inside the box for the satellite cables.
If your box does the same, you could have accidentally knocked one of your cables loose when you were installing your power supply.
