I was a little nervous about doing trying buying a hd and using the InstantCake but Wow it went off without a hitch!!
I have one question though. I noticed the Samsung DVR 4040 I have that didn't have the problem is running the 6.4a software. My question is will the software automatically update on the one I just loaded 6.2a on? I'm so impressed with the increase from 30 hours recording capacity to 304 hours I may just upgrade my other machine ( preventive maint :) )
I wasn't sure which to go with so picked one. From what I could determine they both were supposed to work for my model DVR.
