Questions about Slicer

What is the current version number of Slicer? Are any new versions expected soon? Are their any software disks we should purchase with slicer ( such as universal boot CD )? I am currently running 6.3e, will that work with slicer? Thanks

The current version of The Slicer that is currently downloadable is version 1.9. New versions are released on an as-needed basis, but for the most (purchasers of The Slicer get 90-days of free updates), the product is 'mature' and continues to work as new updates of the software are released from TiVo and DirecTV.

You do not need any other software to work with The Slicer, however you DO need a networked TiVo to ftp the program to an execute under telnet.
