SATA to IDE adapter

Hello fellow Tivo users,
I have a simple question. Has anyone used the sata to ide adapter sold at weaknees http://www.weaknees.com/tivo-sata-to-ide-adapter.php with instant cake. This would be used to upgrade a Tivo branded series 2 dt. Any help is appreciated.

The one we offer (http://www.dvrupgrade.com/dvr/stores/1/accessory_nomodel.cfm?SID=1&Product_ID=377) works fine; can't speak for the one our competitor sells.

I have a question about your adapter Lou.

Should the drive being setup be connected to this adapter for the setup, or should the drive be setup with the SATA connector and then add the adapter?
