1.5 or 2TB HARD Drive

Has anyone tried using Instant Cake on a 1.5 or 2 TB hard drive? I know that instant cake says that they have only tested it on a 1 TB. But I just wanted to know if anyone has tried to push the envelope and tried to do this? What have been your results?

It will not work in an HD Tivo, but I think it will in a TivoXL. And no, you can't use the TivoXL software in an HD Tivo - the next software update from Tivo will install HD software and then be unable to see all your large drive.

You can use a 1 tb internal and a 1 tb external at the same time with a Tivo HD to gain 2 tb of space.
