series 2 & converter box & 06/12/09 cutover date

Thanks for your help – but this is where I am looking:

Series 2 Tivo machine – messages & settings->settings
->channel list - I only see the analog stations here

Series 3 Tivo machine – messages & settings->settings
->channel list – I see all the stations –1, -2, -3 etc
->channel scan – I recently rescanned stations
->signal strength – antenna - I checked this too

I originally did not have all of these stations/options a year or so ago when I got the Series 3 machine, but soon after there was an update that came thru for the –1, -2, -3 stations and other things. Then more recently with all of the hype for the Feb cut over, I started with the converter boxes and rescanned the stations several times.

Series 2 machine is losing stations even though it is connected thru the converter box, the stations are not linking over. Series 2 machine did not get the same type of update as the Series 3 machine.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

There is a nifty powerpoint-ish instruction to connect digital converter box to tivo machine. Also dig out original tivo packing box for IR cable (still in the twist-tie).

After a while in the process, all and I mean ALL the -1, -2, -3 stations showed up on the tivo. It really does work.
