So I woke up this morning and my HD series 3 Tivo in the living room is clicking and clunking away and knew right away that the drive was going to be dead when I checked it.

Had coffee, turned on the monitor and the tivo was stuck on the "Powering Up" screen; time was about 8:00am. I repowered it a few times - more clunking from the unit at each power-on. I got out the laptop and started looking for answers and stumbled on this site. Had more cofffee & let the dog out. Read on the site & the forums some. Figured "what the hell, I'll try it."

My download finished at about 11:05am. The tivo was already apart and a new 1T drive I was going to stick in a dell for sombody was in the dell and the CD drawer was open and ready.

I booted on your CD.
Question & answer time with your s/w was intuitive and minimal - no problems at all.

I had it back together and in my living room making pictures before 1PM with the TIVO setup completed. Another 40 minutes on the phone with the cable provider got my cable cards were re-initialized and working fine.

I highly recommend your software, it works exactly as advertised.
