I have a directTV R10 that has been constantly freezing up. After reading the forums I believe the problem is due to the software version of 6.3
My only concern is that if I order instantcake for the R10 is that on there site they mention both the following statements

On the order page
InstantCake for these units is now shipping with 6.2a of the system software; this software includes updates for the recent DST changes. The only exception to this is the R10 version which contains version 6.1. This will update to 6.1a which is DST compliant.

On the release notes page
"As of March 5th, 2007 all standard-definition units will have version 6.2a installed except for the R10 which is version 6.1. These units will update to the latest version available within a few days of making the daily phone call."

Will this mean that it will update back to 6.3 as this would defeat the object.
If I leave the phone line disconnected will I have a problem with DST.

Please help
