Sony SVR 2000 problems

I have had a sony svr networked with a Tivo ISA adapter from 9thtee.com with kingston kne20bt network card for 7+ years. The unit worked great over the network, until the harddrive failed. I purchased instantcake for the unit and installed new 80gb harddrive. Now the unit will not see the network. Help please.

According to 9thtee"ALL technical support will be handled on the SiliconDust Forum." maybe you should check there. Good Luck Be sure to include the version number of your board as the software is stated to be version dependent.

Sounds like you are using a TiVoNet adapter, NOT a TurboNET adapter. We don't use TiVoNet around here, but for it to work, you'd need to install the drivers.

By default, the TiVo software (and InstantCake) does have TurboNet adapter driver support.
