Instantcake stuck
I just baked 2 new WD 160G hard drives for my HDR612. All was going nicely through guided setup until the phone call. I am using a turbonet card and the ,#401 dialing option as it was before. I connect, download, but it stays at hanging up forever! I tried a reboot and I also tried accessing the Tivo through the TWP all without success. Is there a way to force the hang up? I am desperately missing my Tivo, so any help is appreciated.

Please update the InstantCake images to use a newer version of Linux
If you were to do that people might actually be able to install the Tivo images with InstantCake to USB connected drives instead of having to mess around with jumpers on their CDROM and hard drives, etc. It's amazing to me that you won't/haven't taken the couple of hours to do this already. It would make life easier for all involved.

I purchased IC 6.4a for my HDVR2 on Oct29th this year in order to add a drive to get more hours. In the unit now is a 300gb Maxtor and I am trying to add a Seagate DB35 300gb drive I bought. I have tried to build the drive several times and each time I put it in the unit the extra hours are not recognized. I've used IC before to make a new drive with success but this has me baffled. Do I need to have both the old drive and the new drive in my computer when I do this or just the new drive? When I answer if a single or dual drive I say dual then it asks me how I have the original drive hooked up and then the same for the second drive, which is on secondary slave. If I do need the old drive in and I do the add will that remove the recordings that are on the old drive in the process? I am not sure where to go from here but I should be able to do this, I have cdrom as primary slave and add drive as secondary slave, isn't that correct? Please help I don't want to be wasting my money that I spent on the software and the drive.
Thanks beanhead90
