Getting kernel panic amongst many "lost interrupt" messages for Series 3
Hi all,
I recently purchased the InstantCake software to upgrade/replace a toasted HDD image for my series 3 TiVo. However, upon booting to the cd, I noticed many "lost interrupt" messages when booting into the drive, delaying the point where I could being interacting with the software by about 30 minutes. At that point, I was able to (correctly, I believe) indicate the locations for where my DVD and HDD's were mounted, and set it on its way.
However, after many additional 'lost interrupt' messages during the cd-rom detection/mounting phase, I eventually got a kernel panic, again noting 'lost interrupt'.
I made sure to disconnect all extraneous hardware, so the only drives connected were the DVD drive in question, and the HDD I wanted to wipe. Any ideas why this is going wrong, and how I can get this to be happy?
Here's a photo of the kernel panic, for reference:
