RCA DV40 dead?
I had bought the PTVNET to enable the network connection and I think I screwed something up. After using the disk when it boots up first it shows the regular powering up message then it shows a new black and red logo. After a while, it reboots. Repeat. Over and over.
Ok here are my questions. 1, is there a fix. 2, if I get the instantcake cd and regen the drives as they are now... will it keep the already recorded shows? 3, if not... if I regen another HD from instantcake, is there anyway to get the shows from the old drives to the new one? Thanks in advance. |

found on ccs corporation website:
"Problem: When powered, unit Cycles between the above two screens and appears to reboot. Cause: Power Supply not correctly supplying 3.3 Volts to the Main Circuit Board." it appears your power supply has gone bad. ![]() |
