    Transfering DTivo to new GoToMyDVR account

    I have an account with GoToMyDVR that I can not access. I do not have the password anymore and the account is tied to an email address that is no longer valid. I have created a new account, but I can not add my DTivo to it because it is already associated with my old account.

    How do I get this changed?

    You'll need to get access to your old email address so that you can retrieve your regenerated password. The system is fully self-help and unsupported (and FREE) so beyond the automated password maintenance function that is provided, you are responsible for your account info.

    That would be nice, if it were possible, but it is not. Unfortunately, I clicked lost password, which of course sent a new password to the email I no longer have, so logging into the account has now become impossible.

    Surely there is a way to switch my dvr to a new account...
